Parallel WIP status update

Hi there!

Thank you for looking for Parallel. I'm so glad you still want to read it.

Unfortunately, all previously posted chapters are currently locked, as I am submitting the story for smallvillebbang 2009.

Do come back in August, however, when the Big Bang stories are unveiled. Parallel promises to be huge, and I'm really excited about it.

I am perhaps slightly mildly discovering your fic and wanting to gobble every bit up.

As I'm currently in the mood for a long Smallville fic, do you think there's a chance this could a) be worked on/finished 2) I could get friended to read it as a WIP? :D

I pretty clearly didn't finish this when I meant to, but it's not abandoned... There's at least two unposted chapters somewhere on my hard drive, and I do know how it's supposed to end...

I've got about four things that are one chapter shy of done at the moment (why do I do this to myself?) so they're going to get done first. If you want to read it on that basis though, and with the proviso that my style's changed a little bit since I posted this and I haven't re-edited it yet... Then friend away, and I'll add you to the filter.

Mind if I ask where the sudden interest comes from?

And no problem at all-- it's slightly convoluted, but it basically goes: your recent Marvel big bang on AO3 > finding your SV fic on AO3 > searching for you on delicious and finding your LJ > finding out you also wrote SPN fic > finding out there is a long WIP hidden away from my grabby grabby hands and commenting.

I've actually had a bunch of your SV fic bookmarked on AO3 (through delicious) for months now, and for whatever reason I was just ~looking into it again tonight, and here we are. :D

Ha ha ha, well that makes perfect sense. There's actually very little of my work on AO3, barring the brand new fics that went there first. The SV stuff got auto-imported when they rescued the old SSA archive from oblivion, and so is, I think, my very oldest pieces. I've been meaning to upload everything else, but inertia...

oh my at my own indeliberate anon failing, I try to keep my main account (zanzou) and this account (fic read: porn) separate. Either one would be fine, but because of my insane paranoia about future search engines and my online footprint, could you delete this + your own comment afterwards? Even though it is a 2009 entry, my paranoia really is just that great.

As for AO3, you should absolutely put more fic on there! :DD I don't personally use the pdf method of reading fic, but I know a lot of people do, and I've just become quite fond of the features there recently.

But in any case, either account would be just fine, I am squirming with delight at my soon-to-be-reading self.
