Not one but two (non plot related) shout-outs to New Zealand in the Doctor Who Christmas special. First the "New Zealand Shipping Co Ltd" was listed first on the Honours Board where the Tardis materialised, and then, before I'd finished chuckling from that, the Doctor called NZ "beautiful". This pleases me. I also choose to assume he has actually visited Pacific's Triple Star, as opposed to watching Lord of the Rings one night round Jackie's. Someone write me that fic?
In other news... and in a possible breach of etiquette... but naming no names... I stumbled across this comment in praise of an mpreg take on A Very Supernatural Christmas, which requested a follow-up for All Hell Breaks Loose:
Leaving aside the lack of spaces in the ellipses, and the fact Sam is being loosed like a rodeo horse... Evidently I misinterpreted this scene, because I thought Dean was sufficiently distraught as it was. And clearly, the boys' happiness is worth any number of lesser immortal souls. I have no romance in my grinchy heart, I see. It cracks me up though, because I am a wincester, I admit it, but I don't think my wincesty Dean loves Sam even a molecule more than he already does canonically. It's not possible. And I even like mpreg, I do, *ducks missiles*, but... Yeah, I got nothing. How is it possible to miss the point this much?
I love the internet and its crimes against sense!

I just have this image in my head of that scene in the mud...I mean Dean was already frantic because he was loosing Sam...but to be pregnant and losing Sam...he'll be SO distraught....especially if he's close to delivering...I can only imagine how scared he'll be of now having to deliver alone....but I honestly don't think that Dean would sell his soul to bring Sam back...I think John (if he's not already dead) or hell, even Bobby or Ellen, would do it to make sure the boys were happy.
